The official commissioning of the 30,000-ton annual production capacity of silicon-based composite anode materials for lithium-ion batteries marks the formal industrialization of Yuling's low-lithium-consumption silicon-oxygen products and porous silicon-carbon products! The release of the 10,000-ton capacity fully meets the demand of customers for 10GW lithium-ion battery products, and is the first enterprise in the industry to realize the 10,000-ton capacity of carbon siloxane and porous carbon silica products.

Yuling New Energy SiO@C adopts the "low lithium consumption" technology based on controlling oxygen content and optimizing structural morphology, and can achieve the specific capacity of SiO@C of 1,650~1,700 mAh/g and the first efficiency of 84~85% without pre-lithiation! This technology is safer, easier to process, more convenient to store and less costly than the "pre-lithiation" technology. The industrialization of "low lithium consumption" SiO@C greatly reduces the BOM cost, meets the customer's demand for cost reduction, and reduces the difficulty of introducing the material to customers.

As another self-developed product of Yuling New Energy, the porous silicon-carbon anode material has a three-dimensional porous structure, which is conducive to the rapid transport of lithium ions and provides a certain amount of space to buffer the volume change of the active material during the embedding/de-lithiation process, releasing the stress/strain and providing a good structural stability, thus extending the service life of lithium batteries.
